The Advancing Health Equity and Diagnostic Technologies (GA) Development Award supports key institutional, corporate, government, education, and community partners to create an innovative ecosystem that will inspire, develop, and translate affordable and widely available point-of-care medical technologies to advance health equity throughout the southeast. The vision is an improvement in healthcare and health for a demographically and geographically diverse Georgia and Southeastern region.
Key outcomes of this Development Award:
- Build an ecosystem to drive use-inspired research and technology translation for health equity.
- Leverage relationships with underserved Georgia communities to inspire a technology roadmap and adopt new technologies.
- Establish an annual technology conference that drives technology translation.
- Develop a comprehensive, data-driven roadmap to build a sustainable, tiered education and workforce development system that fuels and supports the Engine.
